I Washed My Feet On The Shores Of Haifa

A midnight drive

A moonlit sky

An embrace between friends

I’m going to wash my feet on the shores of Haifa

A morning coffee

A warm breakfast

Conversations of stones built long ago

I’m going to wash my feet on the shores of Haifa

A circle of friends

A march of color

A tree to hug

I am going to wash my feet on the shores of Haifa

A walk on the beach

A long conversation

A discovery of friends

I’m washing my feet on the shores of Haifa

A child’s laughter

A meal of fish out of sea

A sunset from the old walls of Akka

I’ve washed my feet on the shores of Haifa

Another city away

A mustache or two of fun

A meeting of strangers

I’ve washed my feet on the shores of Haifa

A laugh, a smile, a twinkle in the eye

An inking on the heel

A sad goodbye

I’ve washed my feet on the shores of Haifa

A thought

An impulse

A reality

I washed my feet on the shores of Haifa
